You agree not to use this website for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, harmful, or disruptive purposes.

3. Website Information Is Not a Final Estimate or Contract

Information on this website is provided for general informational purposes only.

Nothing on this website should be treated as a final quote, binding estimate, contract, warranty, guarantee, or promise of service availability unless confirmed in writing by X Factor Coatings SWFL.

Final project pricing, scope of work, scheduling, payment terms, warranty coverage, and project details are determined through a written estimate, contract, invoice, or other project-specific document provided by X Factor Coatings SWFL.

4. Estimate Requests

When you submit an estimate request, you agree to provide accurate and complete information to the best of your knowledge.

Estimate requests may require information such as:

Name
Phone number
Email address
Property address
Project size
Project type
Photos or videos of the project area
Preferred appointment times
Relevant project details

Submitting an estimate request does not guarantee that we will accept the project, provide service, or schedule an appointment. We reserve the right to decline any estimate request or project for any reason permitted by law.

5. Estimates, Pricing, and Project Scope

All estimates are based on the information available at the time the estimate is prepared. Final pricing may depend on project size, site conditions, surface condition, coating system selected, repairs needed, access, moisture concerns, scheduling requirements, and other project-specific factors.

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

Estimates are not binding until accepted by the customer and confirmed by X Factor Coatings SWFL
Pricing may change if the scope of work changes
Additional repairs, preparation, moisture issues, unusual site conditions, or customer-requested changes may result in additional charges
Verbal discussions are not considered final unless included in a written estimate, contract, change order, or invoice

If a project requires work beyond the original scope, X Factor Coatings SWFL may provide a revised estimate, change order, or updated invoice.

6. Scheduling and Project Timing

Project dates are scheduled based on availability, weather conditions, material availability, crew capacity, customer readiness, and other operational factors.

While we make reasonable efforts to begin and complete projects on schedule, project dates and completion timelines are not guaranteed unless specifically stated in writing.

Project timing may be affected by:

Weather
Rain, humidity, or moisture conditions
Surface condition
Concrete repairs
Material availability
Mechanical issues
Crew availability
Customer delays
Restricted access to the project area
Unexpected site conditions

X Factor Coatings SWFL is not responsible for reasonable delays caused by conditions outside of our control.

7. Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for providing safe, clear, and reasonable access to the project area.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the customer is responsible for:

Removing personal items from the garage or project area before work begins
Ensuring vehicles, storage items, appliances, and belongings are moved out of the work area
Providing access to the property at the scheduled time
Keeping pets, children, and unauthorized individuals away from the work area
Informing X Factor Coatings SWFL of known moisture issues, leaks, flooding, prior coatings, sealers, oil contamination, structural concerns, or other relevant conditions
Following all post-installation care and return-to-use instructions

Failure to prepare the project area may result in delays, rescheduling, additional charges, or changes to the project timeline.

8. Existing Concrete and Site Conditions

Concrete surfaces vary widely. Existing concrete may contain cracks, chips, spalling, previous coatings, sealers, moisture issues, oil contamination, soft concrete, improper repairs, uneven areas, hidden damage, or other conditions that may not be fully visible before surface preparation begins.

X Factor Coatings SWFL uses professional preparation methods, including mechanical surface preparation where applicable, to promote adhesion and system performance. However, no concrete coating system can permanently correct every existing slab condition, structural defect, moisture issue, or environmental factor.

Additional work may be required if hidden or unexpected conditions are discovered after the project begins.

9. Moisture, Hydrostatic Pressure, and Environmental Conditions

Concrete moisture, vapor transmission, hydrostatic pressure, drainage problems, leaks, flooding, irrigation, storm exposure, and surrounding grade conditions can affect coating performance.

Unless specifically stated in writing, X Factor Coatings SWFL does not perform predictive moisture testing on every project. Visual inspections and reasonable field observations may be used, but they cannot guarantee that future moisture issues will not occur.

Moisture-related failures, hydrostatic pressure, flooding, water intrusion, leaks, or environmental conditions are not considered standard coating failures unless otherwise stated in a written warranty document.

10. Color, Flake, Texture, and Appearance

Actual colors, flake blends, textures, gloss levels, and finished appearance may vary from samples, photos, website images, social media posts, printed materials, or digital displays.

Variations may occur due to lighting, concrete condition, application method, product batch, broadcast density, texture, viewing angle, and normal installation conditions.

Small cosmetic variations, minor texture differences, visible concrete imperfections, or natural inconsistencies do not necessarily indicate defective workmanship.

11. Slip Resistance and Surface Texture

Concrete coating systems may improve the appearance, durability, and cleanability of a surface, but no surface can be guaranteed to be slip-proof.

Surface traction may vary depending on water, dust, oil, cleaning products, footwear, slope, contaminants, and maintenance practices.

The customer is responsible for using reasonable caution on coated surfaces, especially when wet or contaminated.

12. Payment Terms

Payment terms are determined by the estimate, contract, invoice, or written agreement provided for the project.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, payment is due in full upon project completion.

X Factor Coatings SWFL may accept payment by check, ACH bank transfer, credit card, debit card, electronic wallet, or other approved payment methods.

Processing fees may apply depending on the payment method selected. Unless otherwise stated in writing, the following processing fees may apply:

Check: no processing fee
ACH bank transfer: 1% processing fee
Credit card, debit card, or electronic wallet: 3.5% processing fee

Payment processing fees are charged by third-party processors and may be added to the total project cost.

The customer must accurately communicate their intended payment method so the invoice can reflect the correct final amount. If the customer changes payment method after the invoice is prepared, X Factor Coatings SWFL may revise the invoice to reflect the appropriate processing fee before the account is considered paid in full.

13. Deposits

A deposit may be requested or required depending on the project, schedule, material requirements, or scope of work.

If a deposit is required, the deposit amount, payment deadline, and any applicable terms will be stated in the estimate, contract, or invoice.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, project dates are not guaranteed until any required deposit, signed approval, or scheduling confirmation has been completed.

14. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Customers should notify X Factor Coatings SWFL as soon as possible if they need to cancel or reschedule a project or appointment.

We reserve the right to reschedule a project due to weather, site conditions, material availability, crew availability, customer readiness, safety concerns, or other reasonable business needs.

Repeated cancellations, late rescheduling, or failure to provide access may result in additional charges or cancellation of the project.

15. Warranty Information

Any warranty coverage provided by X Factor Coatings SWFL is governed by the separate written warranty document provided to the customer.

Website statements, marketing materials, verbal conversations, photos, videos, or social media posts do not modify, expand, or replace the written warranty.

If there is any conflict between this website and the written warranty, the written warranty controls.

16. Care and Maintenance

The customer is responsible for properly maintaining the coated surface after installation.

X Factor Coatings SWFL may provide care and maintenance guidelines. Failure to follow proper maintenance practices may affect appearance, performance, cleanability, traction, and warranty eligibility.

Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, improper cleaning products, harsh chemicals, dragging heavy objects, impact, staining, flooding, moisture issues, or environmental exposure may not be covered under warranty.

17. Project Photos and Marketing Use

X Factor Coatings SWFL may take photos or videos before, during, and after a project for documentation, quality control, training, portfolio, website, advertising, and social media purposes.

We make reasonable efforts not to publicly display sensitive personal information, addresses, license plates, faces, or private household details without permission.

If you have concerns about project photos or videos being used for marketing, please notify us before the project begins.

We may edit reviews or testimonials for length, spelling, formatting, or clarity, but we will not intentionally alter the meaning of your feedback.
